Ayca Wheating studied in Birmingham and London and after completing her degrees she settled in Bath. In this semi-bucolic city, where everything is so graceful and architecturally defined, she found her passion in painting to express her view of what is beautiful.

 

She attended the Royal Drawing School at Kensington Palace, widening her drawing theory/techniques.

 

Her work -which consists mainly of figurative studies executed in acrylic and oil- reflects her particular interest in the female form drawing from many areas, including travel and literature. She is the resident artist for Loft, design and decorative art gallery.

 

Her work is held in various collections in England, Spain, France, the West Indies, and Türkiye. She has shown in shown in Bath, Paris, London, Barbados, and Istanbul.
